Bacchus Marsh, VictoriaThe Beaufort Gliding Club operates from the Bacchus Marsh Aerodrome, Victoria, in conjunction with two other gliding clubs (Geelong Gliding Club and Victorian Motorless Flight Group) and a power flying school (Bacchus Marsh School of Aviation). The Aerodrome is located approximately 50 kms west of the city of Melbourne and a similar distance from the major provincial towns of Ballarat and Geelong. It is the closest soaring site to these three cities. Entry is via Aerodrome Road, which is off the Bacchus Marsh - Geelong Road about eight kilometres south of Bacchus Marsh township. Take the first left off Aerodrome Road to arrive at the clubhouse.
